Washington, DC Book Signing

Welcome, welcome, welcome! (OMG, I sound just like Montel Williams… LOL. )

Here I am in VERY sunny Sacramento, CA, with my partner, former Basketball Champ and WNBA player, MaeOla Bolton, at the home of her sister – two time Olympic gold medalist, Ruthie Bolton, who just had a beautiful baby girl, Hope.

Tonight, MaeOla and I will board the “red-eye” to JFK where, in the morning, we will schlep our way to NJ via any means possible. (That means none of our friends will come to Queens on a Monday morning during rush hour traffic to pick us up. I can’t blame them. I don’t know if I’d pick us up either! Did I say that out loud?!?)

California was great, but I’m dying to get home. Because next week is an exciting week!

MaeOla and I are heading down to DC PRIDE weekend so I can do some book signings that have been set up by the lovely and wonderfully efficient Desiree Samira of Washington, DC, my rep.

Yup, yup… TRASHY NOVEL (Book 1) is in it’s second printing, and after being nominated as one of Cushcity.com’s Finalist for Best New Author of the Year 2007, and receiving some really great reviews on Trashy Novel, which is my debut novel, I’m looking forward to meeting some of my fans, present and future!

So with that said, I hope to see you during PRIDE WEEKEND! Look for me at events; I wanna sign your books, and see your faces when you read the first line which got me the ‘Jackie [Collins] Award for most fearless and brazen first line in a novel.’ LOL…

So, let’s have a Martini, Dahling…
